Apple has started a free faulty battery replacement programme in some of the 13inches MacBook Pros (without Touch Bar) because it has occurred that built in them batteries are faulty.
Faulty batteries can be fitted in MacBooks produced between October 2016 and October 2017.
On a particular Apple page, fill in the serial number of your MacBook in the space provided to be able to check if there is fitted in faulty battery in your laptop.
If your laptop qualifies for the free faulty battery replacement programme, but you have paid for a battery exchange, Apple offers a refund of the payment.
